1. How can the CrowdMaster Plus be "Heavy Duty" with only a 1" OD frame?
The "Heavy Duty" rating comes from the 16-gauge steel thickness and the 21 fully-welded risers. While the frame diameter is slightly smaller than the 1.5" model (which helps reduce cost and weight), the steel itself is just as thick and robust. This makes it strong enough to handle high-pressure crowd situations and permanent outdoor deployment.
2. Is this model suitable for coastal or high-moisture environments?
Yes! Because it is hot-dip galvanized (a process where the entire frame is dipped in molten zinc), both the inside and outside of the tubing are protected. This is the best possible treatment for preventing rust in salt air, rain, and snow, making it perfect for permanent outdoor use.
3. Can I mix the CrowdMaster Plus with my existing 1.5" OD barricades?
Absolutely. The industry-standard hook and loop fastening system is consistent across our entire line. Even though the frame diameter is different, the hooks and loops will align perfectly with our HD, LD, and 6.5ft models, allowing you to expand your inventory without compatibility issues.
4. What is the difference between the two foot options?
The Heavy Duty feet are designed for maximum stability on flat surfaces like asphalt or concrete, especially where crowds might lean on the barrier. The Bridge feet feature an arched design specifically to provide a level, wobble-free base on uneven surfaces like grass, gravel, or dirt.
